Steve
Anderson currently serves as the Executive director of the Belzoni
Humphreys Development Foundation.
Steve
joined the Belzoni Humphreys County Development Foundation in 2008 having
previously served as Executive Director of the Webster County Development
Council.
He
has embarked on an ambitious program of community and economic development
for Humphreys County.
Prior
to entering the field of economic/community development, Steve worked in
management of major jewelry retailers as well as owning his own retail
business.
A
native Mississippian, Steve graduated from Louisville High School and
received a B.S. degree from Mississippi State University and an MBA from
the University of Southern Mississippi.
He
is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University
of Oklahoma and the Community Development Institute at the University of
Central Arkansas.
Steve
has earned his PCED certification from the Community Development Council.
Steve is active in the Mississippi Economic Development Council and the
Mississippi Delta Developers Association.
Steve
is a Paul Harris Fellow and has served as president of Belzoni and
Louisville Rotary Clubs. He is presently serving as Assistant Governor in
Rotary District 6820. Steve and his wife, Sherry, have two daughters and
two grandchildren. They are active in First Presbyterian Church.
