The 35th Annual World Catfish Festival will be held in downtown Belzoni, Miss., on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Activities include live entertainment all day, catfish eating contest, crowning of the Catfish Queen, 5K run, new rides just for the kids, a carnival with rides and entertainment, fun for the entire family, over 140 arts and crafts vendors.
